A Little About Me...
Bodywork and healing have been a life long passion. Informal talent turned into a degree from Healing Hands Holistic School of Health. I immediately gained employment at the renowned Golden Door Spa in Southern California. In 2003 I moved to the Bay Area. While working many years at wellness spa's, including five years at Body Mind & Spirit, and six at the Berkeley Sauna, I also launched my own practice where I can work independently to bring relaxation and healing to the community. As of June/July 20017 I now live in Mount Shasta, CA.
I work independently providing in-house/outcall massage in Mount Shasta.
I also work at Stewart Mineral Springs just north of Mount Shasta.
And, I still make frequent visits to the Bay Area to do massage in Berkeley and surrounding areas.
Using intuition & utilizing many different modalities specific to ones' needs is the main way I work throughout a session.
My method, style, and flow will change depending on the client's needs and wishes. I have found over years of practicing that a blend of modalities tend to work best to provide a full and well-rounded experience with lasting results. I can also accomodate clients who prefer a specific massage style. As each person is unique with needs varying, so is each session unique.
The Modalities I utilize are:
-
Shiatsu
-
Tui-Na
-
Deep Tissue
-
Swedish
-
Reflexology
-
Trigger Point
-
Orthopedic
-
Craniosacral Holds
-
Pre and Post Natal
-
Passive Joint Movement
-
Chakra Balancing
Sessions can range from a flowing Esalen style to a more invigorating Deep/ Sports style massage depending upon what's needed and wanted.
